Colliers Mortgage LLC is seeking a Review Appraiser to perform internal reviews of appraisal reports and manage portfolio assignments on a regional to national basis. The role emphasizes quality, adherence to scope, and proactive client communication.

The ideal candidate holds an MAI designation with 8–10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, plus proficiency in MS Office. This is a remote position based in the western United States, with commission-based compensation and comprehensive

Qualifications

• MAI designation required.
• 8–10 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus completion of advanced appraisal review class curriculum (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal review of appraisal reports to ensure conformity of appraisal standards and assignment scope of work requirements and mitigate risk.
• Ensure quality of analysis via the 5 basic components (completeness, accuracy, adequacy, relevance, reasonableness).
• Discuss appraisal methodology with the appraiser for an assignment, if requested.
• Be a mentor and resource to CIVAS appraisers, if needed.
• Initial and ongoing client communication and account management for individual portfolio assignments and milestones.
• Coordination of due diligence, inspection, and internal team member assignments.
• Creation of template according to client-specific requirements.
• Creation of portfolio data tape containing specific metrics from individual reports.
• Oversight of review comments, process, and revisions.
