CPI Electron Device Business in Beverly, MA seeks skilled machinists to set up and operate manual machinery, following drawings and quality standards. You will design tooling and fixturing, determine the operation sequence, and perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision instruments.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Advanced trade school or AA in technical field preferred.
• 3 years of advanced work experience or concentrated machining training.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Fluent in setup and operation of mills, lathes, surface grinders.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machinery to manufacture precision parts.
• Determine operation order and design tooling/workholding fixtures.
• Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Maintain records and quality documentation.
