Qualifications

• Five years journeyman experience in a comparable position or related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of machine and hand tools used in the machinist trade.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication principles and equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service campus equipment including generators, pumps, and HVAC components.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for repairs.
• Coordinate with other shops and campus clients to plan tasks and material needs.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and document work orders.
