Wolverine Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Machine Technician in the Detroit area to lead maintenance efforts and coordinate machine technicians. The role involves setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining production and facility equipment following OSHA guidelines and PM systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with mechanical specialty required.
• 10+ years experience in machine maintenance and parts handling.
• Ability to train others on machine fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and PLCs.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve malfunctions using technical and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Manager in coordinating machine technician work.
• Support maintenance staff to complete work orders efficiently.
• Maintain records for preventive maintenance and service requests.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Oversee spare parts inventory for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform machine setups and train operators on maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Ensure safety and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance as required.
