Job summary

Vanguard Conversion and Fulfillment, a GroupeSTAHL company, is seeking a Senior Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). You will serve as a lead resource on the production floor, handling complex equipment setup, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining complex production machinery.
Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, drive mechanisms, and control interfaces.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead small teams or production cells.
Comfort working with production software and data entry systems.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate high-speed, multifunctional conversion equipment with precision and efficiency.
Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and perform in-depth troubleshooting or escalate to maintenance.
Adjust settings and parameters to meet varying material and product requirements.
Review production plans and ensure machines are aligned with capacity and quality expectations.
Recommend improvements to maximize throughput and reduce waste.
Monitor line performance and assist in downtime recovery.
Act as team lead for operators on assigned shift; delegate tasks and ensure SOP compliance.
Train and mentor lower-level machine operators on setup, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to meet operational goals.
