Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Machine Operator III to set up and operate complex production machinery in line with established procedures. The role ensures final products meet customer expectations through diligent monitoring and quality checks.

The position requires basic math, computer familiarity, and at least one year of experience with heavy manufacturing or assembly equipment. A valid high school diploma is required and the role offers hourly pay with standard benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year experience with heavy manufacturing/assembly equipment.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Basic computer skills expected.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production machinery per procedures.
  • Ensure material and supplies are prepared per production sheets.
  • Operate machine safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor machine quality and adjust as needed.
  • Stack and label finished products as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Complete pre-shift inspections and report issues.
  • Maintain production records as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in safety and CI programs.
