Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking a Machine Operator III to set up and operate complex production machinery in line with established procedures. The role focuses on maintaining quality and efficient production, with responsibilities spanning from setup to final product checks.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum high school diploma and at least one year of experience with heavy manufacturing equipment, plus basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in heavy manufacturing/assembly equipment.
  • Basic mathematical knowledge and numerical skills.
  • Comfort with basic computer equipment and systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production machinery in accordance with procedures.
  • Perform pre-shift startup checks and ensure equipment safety.
  • Operate and feed machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Maintain clean, organized work area and production records as required.
  • Monitor materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
  • Participate in safety, CI and other program meetings and duties.
