Job summary

HID is seeking a Machine Operator Level 3 in Austin, TX to operate and optimize complex manufacturing equipment on-site. You’ll mentor lower-level operators, perform advanced setups, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires MO2-level experience, high attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience, including MO2-level performance.
• Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends).
• Obtain and maintain SF-85P Federal Clearance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot beyond standard work instructions.
• Experience training employees or supporting team leadership activities.
• Experience supporting process improvements or new equipment launches.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform advanced setup, operation, adjustment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex equipment.
• Mentor and train lower-level operators to ensure competency and consistency.
• Identify and escalate issues to minimize safety, quality, delivery problems and improve efficiency.
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
