Senior Machine Learning Engineer/Tech Lead, TikTok Monetization - Ad Growth

Responsibilities

We are TikTok Monetization Ad Growth Team, dedicated to creating an exceptional advertising experience and intelligent growth marketing strategies for global advertising clients. You will engage with challenging technical domains such as large-scale user systems, diverse advertising fields (ad creation, material optimization, delivery strategy, attribution, measurement, etc.), AI-driven personalized recommendations and growth strategies, and massive client profiling powered by LLM and big data. We seek individuals passionate about leveraging technology to help global SMB advertisers connect with customers, achieve business success, and drive TikTok's advertising growth.

  1. Shape TikTok Monetization's growth through developing personalized strategies like coupons, internal advertising, and intelligent suggestions, directly influencing the company's P&L and monetization roadmap.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design advanced machine learning models to enhance SMB advertisers' performance, including predicting KPIs such as click-through and conversion rates.
  3. Build TTAM (TikTok Ads Manager) Copilot by integrating LLMs into our products to improve advertiser engagement, including developing Generative-AI based QAs, auto-creation recommendations, and conversational creation flows.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience with machine learning in academic or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of ML algorithms, NLP, computer vision, CTR prediction, etc.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, Go, or Java; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
  • Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Hive.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in relevant fields.
  • Experience in advertising and recommendation systems.
  • Experience with LLM and AIGC.
