Job summary

RTX is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for the Aviation Intelligence team. The role is remote in the United States and focuses on building state-of-the-art ML models that power the FlightAware Foresight product suite, driving performance improvements and operational efficiency for airlines and airports.

You’ll work on large datasets with advanced ML techniques, including time series and multimedia data, in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science/Engineering/Math with 8+ years of experience or advanced degree with 5+ years of experience
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• Strong knowledge of Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch)
• Experience with time series, image, or video data
• Ability to work within an agile development environment

Responsibilities

• Build next-generation ML models for the Aviation Intelligence team
• Improve and optimize existing ML models used by Foresight products
• Collaborate in a small, high-impact team within a larger organization
• Work with large datasets and scalable data processing systems
