About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to join our innovative AI-driven cybersecurity startup. The Senior MLE will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced infrastructures for deploying, serving, and managing AI models developed by our Applied Scientists. You will play a critical role in integrating state-of-the-art AI capabilities into our cybersecurity platforms, enabling real-time threat detection and proactive response.

What You’ll Do

• Deploy and maintain advanced AI models into scalable production environments using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and APIs.
• Develop end-to-end automated pipelines for streamlined model training, evaluation, fine-tuning (Q-LoRA, SFT, Speculative Decoding, 2D Matryoshka, and Distillation), and deployment, transitioning smoothly from experimentation to production.
• Optimize machine learning models to achieve real-time inference, utilizing quantization, pruning, parallelization, and efficient frameworks such as Unsloth, vLLM, and Databricks.
• Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists and Data Engineers to translate experimental and fine-tuned models (e.g., Llama 3.3 70B, Qwen 2.5 & 3 families) into robust production solutions.
• Design and maintain comprehensive model monitoring, evaluation systems (DeepEval), and automated retraining pipelines to proactively manage performance degradation and data drift.
• Integrate machine learning models seamlessly with broader software ecosystems, ensuring effective interoperability with web services, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructures, and agentic orchestration platforms (LangGraph).
• Establish and manage robust CI/CD workflows specific to machine learning systems, automating testing, retraining, deployment, and continuous improvements.
• Build, deploy, and manage embedding vector databases (Milvus, Pinecone) and retrieval engines, leveraging HNSW, ANN, and BM25 hybrid search techniques.
• Support multimodal AI system integration using frameworks such as Clip and Segment Anything (Meta) and prompt engineering tools (LangChain Prompts).
