1. Build and improve the best LLM group chat experience, including fine-tuning models for conversational quality and scalability.
2. Develop engaging features from concept to production, working across the stack.
3. Innovate on building a "memory" feature for personalized user experiences.
4. Lead technical decision-making to find practical and innovative solutions.

Who you are:

• Experienced (Senior/Staff) machine learning engineer with broad knowledge and skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Skilled in fine-tuning LLMs for generative and discriminative tasks, creating datasets, and understanding LLM pitfalls and tricks.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, Jax, or TensorFlow.
• Capable of working independently and handling ambiguity.
• Possess a PhD in Machine Learning or equivalent industry experience.
• Have experience working in startups for several years.
• Located in Seattle, San Francisco, or New York.
