Job summary

Motion is seeking a M365/Azure Systems Administrator II to implement, administer, and support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and hybrid environments. You will help optimize cloud services, enforce security and identity controls, and collaborate with engineering, networking, and cybersecurity teams.

The role requires 5+ years in Microsoft infrastructure, strong PowerShell scripting, and experience with Azure, Intune, Entra ID, and VMware.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
5+ years of progressive experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure environments.
Experience administering Azure and Microsoft 365 in an enterprise setting.
Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking, and resource groups.
Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID.
Manage Entra ID/Azure AD accounts, groups, role assignments, and authentication services.
Maintain Windows Server operating systems, VMware virtualization, and related infrastructure services.
Develop and maintain automation scripts with PowerShell; support IaC initiatives using Azure deployment tools.
Provide Tier 3 technical support, perform root cause analysis, and participate in on-call rotation.
Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, diagrams, and standards.
