Job summary

The Carlyle Group is seeking a hands-on Microsoft 365 engineer to design, deliver, and operate secure, scalable M365 and Power Platform solutions. You will report to the Head of M365 Engineering and drive projects from design through adoption.

In-office requirement: 4 days per week, collaborating with Cloud, Enterprise AI, Security, IAM, Legal & Compliance teams. Strong focus on automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
• Hands-on Power Platform experience including Power Apps and Power Automate with Dataverse and Copilot Studio.
• Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and security/compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and continuously improve Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Copilot for M365, Defender, Purview).
• Lead Microsoft 365 and Power Platform projects end-to-end (requirements, design, planning, testing, rollout, adoption, support).
• Engineer identity and access integrations using Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, guest access, and hybrid identity touchpoints.
• Partner with Security, IAM, Cloud, and Compliance to meet security, privacy, and data protection standards.
• Develop and maintain solution designs, runbooks, and knowledge articles; lead root-cause analysis and health improvements.
• Evaluate roadmap features and licensing impacts; recommend adoption paths with Microsoft and partners.
