Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking a seasoned M&A tax professional to lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and structuring for middle-market transactions. You will oversee engagements, coordinate with PE firms and banks, and provide tax advice across industries from our Spokane area office.

The role requires a CPA or licensed attorney, a proven track record in tax due diligence, and strong leadership and client-relations skills. Travel to client sites will be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Master’s degree in Taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred.
• CPA and/or licensed attorney required.
• 8+ years of related experience in tax or M&A.
• Experience leading M&A tax engagements at a large firm preferred.
• Strong business development and client-relationship skills.
• 4+ years supervisory and training experience.

Responsabilités

• Engagement management with clients including c-suite interactions.
• Perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence for middle-market deals.
• Lead deal execution and supervise client deliverables and staff.
• Coordinate services with other practice areas.
• Build relationships and participate in business development.
• Provide leadership and coaching to staff, seniors and managers.
