Job summary

5 Legal is seeking an associate to join its M&A and Private Equity Practice Group in Tallahassee. Ideal candidates will have 6-8 years of M&A experience, with demonstrated drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents and managing deal processes.

The candidate should excel in client relationships, supervising junior associates, and handling day-to-day matters across diverse M&A matters. Large regional or national firm background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of M&A experience.
• Experience leading the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents.
• Managing deal process and client relationships.
• Supervising junior associates and handling day-to-day demands on a variety of M&A matters.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and business sense.
• Large regional, national or international law firm experience preferred.
