Job summary

Buckingham Search is seeking a senior M&A professional to lead evaluations and execution of acquisitions within a high-growth, PE-backed services company. You will own the transaction process from LOI through closing and work directly with senior leadership to shape growth strategy.

In this hands-on role, you will build financial models, assess strategic fit, manage diligence, and coordinate with outside advisors, owners, and finance leadership across multiple deals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or similar.
• Hands-on buy-side M&A experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisition opportunities and assess strategic/financial fit.
• Build and review acquisition models, valuations, and analyses.
• Lead diligence and coordinate with outside advisors to LOI and close.
• Prepare materials and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Manage multiple transactions and maintain momentum across pipeline.
• Partner with finance and operating leadership throughout the process.
