Animal Medical Center of Troy is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team, supporting outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Michigan.
• Proficiency in surgical assistance, dental prophylaxis, radiography, venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Safe, low-stress patient handling and client education.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist in surgery.
• Perform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintain detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients.
