Richland Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing LVT credential
• Proficiency in patient assessment and nursing care
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Radiology positioning and safety protocols
• Lab sample collection and in-house testing
• Client education and communication

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Assist in surgery and anesthesia monitoring
• Perform dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Identify patient concerns and support case management
• Build strong client relationships through education and service
