Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide direct care and oversee nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. The role ensures care quality and compliance with federal, state, and local standards, under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor.

The position requires coordinating shifts, ensuring policy adherence, maintaining documentation, and participating in the facility's QA program to uphold high standards of resident care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the facility.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with written policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and maintenance of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure the resident's total regimen of care.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit to the Business Office as required.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, etc.
