Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensed by California.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an ambulatory clinic setting.
• Knowledge of universal precautions and proper body mechanics.
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize critical demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of patient care activities in support of patient care.
• Prioritize and assist in patient triage processing.
• Assist with patient examinations and administer medications.
• Draw blood and prepare laboratory tests.
• Provide patient education and staff training.
• Train and validate competencies of LVN and other staff.
