Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide patient care in our outpatient Urology clinics. Under supervision, you will support cystoscopies, IV starts, venipuncture, medication administration and patient flow.

The role includes travel to other UCLA Urology sites for coverage and contributing to self-care teaching plans for patients and families. Strong teamwork, communication, and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse in California with LVN license and IV/Blood Draw certification.
• BLS certification required; ability to work flexible hours and travel to UCLA Urology clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings and assist urologic procedures (cystoscopies, bladder installations).
• Start IVs, perform venipuncture, administer medications, manage patient flow.
• Back-up for clinic front desk; contribute to teaching self-care plans for patients and families.
