Job summary

WEG Electric Corp seeks a Senior Product Engineer for Low Voltage LV Motors to support technical issues, product line management, and development of LV Motors. The role spans certification and industry trade groups, and requires collaboration with Engineering, Certification, Sales, Service, and logistics to bring products to market.

The ideal candidate combines electrical machines knowledge with hands-on product development, and can travel to customer sites and trade shows as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2 years work experience in motor related industry or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals for new product lines through market research, sales interactions, and customer visits.
• Supports new product development through product launch with Engineering, Certification, Sales, Service, logistics and others.
• Assists LV Motors team members technically or commercially as needed.
• Participates in conference calls and/or customer visits with limited outside sales assistance.
• Provides technical and commercial training and mentoring to junior team members, field sales and customers as appropriate.
• Participate with industry groups to further WEG's position as a leading motor industry player.
