Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. seeks a Sr. Product Engineer for Low Voltage (LV) Motors to support technical issues, product line management, and development of LV Motors.

The role involves collaboration with Certification and Industry Trade groups, and travel to meet customers. Responsibilities include developing new product proposals, supporting product launches, and creating training and literature for customers and the LV Motors team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in motor-related industry or equivalent experience.
• Experience with large motor/drive applications is preferred.
• Proven ability to support product development, certification and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals for new product lines through market research, sales interactions and customer visits.
• Support new product development through product launch with Engineering, Certification, Sales, Service and logistics.
• Collaborate with engineers and customers to discuss projects and modify schedules.
• Support marketing and communications for product lines through industry briefs and manuals.
