Job summary

Kent Data Centres is seeking Lead Electric Low Voltage/Controls Technicians to support our Florida and Ohio projects. You will work with the site commissioning lead to ensure successful delivery of commissioning, testing, and handover for critical facilities.

Responsibilities include FAT/SAT/IST oversight, method statements, risk assessments, and coordinating with the supply chain and clients. A background in Oil & Gas or power projects is valued, with travel to USA sites required.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree or similar.
• 5+ years of infrastructure (Power) experience.
• Knowledge of electrical & mechanical equipment and technical risk.
• Must have a driving license.
• Willingness to travel in the region.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation and develop commissioning plans.
• Attend FAT/SAT/IST and document findings and actions.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors on site.
• Prepare and manage commissioning scripts and test records.
• Lead QA, testing and handover activities to the client.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed.
