Job summary

Studio Bloom, a boutique luxury residential design studio in Chelsea, Manhattan, seeks a mid-to-senior level designer with 5–10 years of experience. You will lead projects from concept through installation, working closely with a Principal to shape both design outcomes and the studio’s growth.

Expect hands-on technical work, client interaction, and mentorship of junior designers. The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, construction documentation expertise, and a proactive, collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of luxury residential interior design experience; NYC market preferred.
• Experience leading sophisticated projects from concept through installation.
• Excellent AutoCAD and construction documentation skills.
• Strong construction administration, consultant coordination, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities.
• Proactive ownership mindset with potential to mentor a team.
• Comfort in a Mac environment; familiarity with 3D tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principal on luxury projects from concept through installation.
• Produce and oversee drawing sets, construction docs, and custom millwork.
• Develop space plans, concepts, presentations, and material specs.
• Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and schedules.
• Participate in site visits, installations, and field coordination; resolve issues.
• Utilize AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Studio Designer, and Asana to support execution.
• Represent the studio professionally with clients and partners.
• As trust grows, assume ownership of client communication and project leadership.
