Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a Maintenance Technician for the West Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. You will independently manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks, reporting to the Maintenance Manager in a luxury resort environment.

Ideal candidates have 5–6 years of luxury-hotel maintenance experience, a technical diploma, and strong skills reading blueprints.

Qualifications

5–6 years of maintenance technician experience in a luxury hotel.
Diploma or certificate validating technical skills.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry.
Ability to lift up to 100 lb occasionally and 50 lb frequently.
English literacy and communication required.
Willingness to work long hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and wall vinyl repairs.
Conduct routine maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
Inspect and service building systems such as HVAC units, boilers, chillers, and electrical panels.
Implement upgrades to improve efficiency and performance.
Assist in installing new equipment while following safety guidelines.
Maintain logbooks of all work and parts used.
Communicate status of maintenance projects to management.
Other duties as assigned.
