Job summary

Parasol Marketing Group in New York City seeks an Account Supervisor to lead strategic PR and marketing programs for luxury clients in travel, hospitality and lifestyle sectors.

You will act as a senior liaison to clients, manage a small team, secure quality media placements, and develop new business proposals while traveling domestically and internationally. Ideal candidates bring 6-8 years agency experience and a proven track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
• 6-8 years in public relations/marketing (Must have agency and hotel/travel/tourism experience)
• Proven track record of success at Agency or Company
• Experience managing other team members such as AE’s, AAE’s, AC’s, interns or freelancers
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Strong network of established media contacts
• Strong client management skills
• Excellent organizational skills, proactive, and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, results-oriented environment
• Team oriented and ability to take the lead on relevant projects
• Resourceful and well-connected
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint, Cision, etc.

Responsibilities

• Act as key client contact
• Build and manage strategic PR and marketing programs for clients
• Direct client strategy and manage client activity
• Develop/maintain strong relationships with key media and other key influencers
• Write compelling content for PR materials, including creative pitch plans and unique story angles
• Secure consistent and quality media placements
• Develop and participate in new business proposal writing and pitches, help secure new business
• Work successfully in a fast paced, high-energy environment
• Manage and mentor team members and other PR/Marketing resources and partners
• Domestic/International travel
