Job summary

Carver & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, and lifestyle properties.

You will lead projects from concept through documentation, procurement coordination, and installation, blending design vision with practical execution. The role demands leadership, client-facing collaboration, and mentoring of junior designers, with travel as needed to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional interior design experience, ideally 7–10+ years, including leadership of luxury, boutique, lifestyle, or custom hospitality projects.
• Experience with luxury hotels, boutique hotels, lifestyle properties, resorts, or high-end custom hospitality spaces.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Knowledge of FF&E, finishes, and millwork for luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects for luxury hotels, boutique properties, lifestyle brands, resorts, and custom hospitality environments.
• Develop original concepts reflecting property identity and guest experience.
• Prepare FF&E selections, finish schedules, and interior design documentation.
• Coordinate design development and construction documents with approved concepts.
• Mentor junior designers and participate in site visits and installations.
