InnoForge partners with a US space technology company to develop robotic systems for lunar operations. We are seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to own localization software for autonomous lunar rovers, taking algorithms from concept through simulation and testing on real hardware.

You will work across software, robotics and hardware teams to implement localization, SLAM and state estimation, using C++ and Python.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building robotics software for real-world systems.
• Strong localization/state estimation knowledge.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Experience with SLAM, sensor fusion or related positioning techniques.
• Ability to own complex technical challenges from design to validation.

Aufgaben

• Own the localization software for lunar rovers.
• Develop and refine position estimation algorithms.
• Build and test localization systems in simulation and on hardware.
• Evaluate performance, identify limits and implement improvements.
• Collaborate across software, robotics and hardware teams to deliver autonomous systems.
• Make independent technical decisions with focus on performance and reliability.
• Iterate rapidly with test–learn–improve cycles.
