Job summary

HDR is seeking a Technology Designer to design integrated low voltage systems and perform engineering assignments under direction from the Project Manager. The role emphasizes delivering complete construction documents and writing specifications for low voltage tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in low-voltage system design
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is required

Responsibilities

• Design integrated low voltage systems
• Calculate electrical power loads, UPS requirements and single line diagrams
• Prepare complete construction documents
• Work with project team to meet design objectives
• Write specifications for low voltage systems and coordinate with owners
• Support other designers and project coordinators across design phases
• Perform QA/QC on team deliverables
• Contribute to all phases of the design process
