Job description

Spring Oak Senior Living is seeking an experienced Senior Low Voltage Systems Technician to lead the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security, networking, and low‑voltage systems across our growing portfolio of senior living communities.

This is a hands‑on field position for someone who can work independently with minimal supervision. You'll travel to communities, evaluate project needs, complete installations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high‑quality work from start to finish.

If you're the type of technician who prefers being trusted to "figure it out" rather than waiting for someone to tell you every step, we'd like to talk with you.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e, Cat6, and other structured cabling
  • Install and configure IP camera systems, NVRs, and CCTV equipment
  • Install and troubleshoot network switches, PoE equipment, Wi‑Fi access points, and data drops
  • Install access control systems, maglocks, electric strikes, keypads, and automatic door operators
  • Diagnose and repair low‑voltage wiring, networking, and electronic security systems
  • Read floor plans and determine cable routes and equipment locations
  • Coordinate with vendors and community leadership during installations
  • Maintain organized documentation for completed projects
  • Travel throughout multiple states to complete installations and service work
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of commercial low‑voltage installation experience
  • Experience with structured cabling and cable termination
  • Strong knowledge of IP cameras, CCTV, networking, and electronic security systems
  • Experience installing access control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently in the field
  • Comfortable climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in ceilings and mechanical spaces
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Preferred Experience:
  • Fiber termination and testing
  • BICSI certification
  • Experience with Verkada, Ubiquiti, Avigilon, Axis, Hikvision, Hanwha, or similar systems
  • Basic networking knowledge, including switches, VLANs, and PoE
  • Experience working in healthcare, commercial buildings, or multi‑site facilities

$95,000 - $120,000 a year
