Job summary

Heartland Security Insurance Group is seeking a Loss Control Supervisor to lead a team of Loss Control Representatives, inspecting client facilities and recommending loss control measures. The role includes developing loss control programs for self-insured clients and overseeing training and performance.

Requirements include an engineering or related degree, 15+ years in safety/loss control, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in safety/loss control.
• Must have a valid driver's license (MVR compliance).

Responsibilities

• Inspect client facilities and recommend loss control measures.
• Provide a written loss control program for self-insured clients.
• Assist with training or other resources for clients.
• Provide general oversight of Loss Control Representatives.
• Evaluate job productivity and performance.
• Approve time off requests.
• Monitor travel and client visits.
• Authorize and approve expense statements per HSIG policy.
• Assist Loss Control Representatives when needed.
• Provide training and resources to Loss Control Representatives.
• Develop yearly strategic plans for high-risk clients with losses exceeding 25%.
• Assist with recruiting and hiring of new candidates.
