What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an assigned book of business by developing service plans, conducting surveys, and identifying high-risk accounts
- Schedule and complete onsite visits to evaluate workplace environments and document findings with recommendations
- Monitor policyholder loss activity and develop strategies for loss reduction
- Provide consultative and training services to enhance safety and loss control measures
- Serve as a subject matter expert and training resource for internal and external stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health & Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing and at least one certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Minimum of seven years of experience in loss control or occupational safety services, preferably with a workers’ compensation carrier
- Proven experience in developing and auditing safety management systems
- Expert knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) Regulations and industry-standard investigation techniques
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with complex risk assessments and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with emergency response plan development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data interpretation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences
