What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring service plans are in place and high-risk accounts are identified
- Conduct onsite visits to evaluate workplace environments and document findings and recommendations
- Monitor policyholder loss activity and develop strategies for loss reduction
- Provide consultative and training services to support risk mitigation objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert and training resource for internal partners and external customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health & Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing required
- Minimum of seven years providing loss control or occupation-related safety services
- Experience developing and implementing safety management systems for organizations
- Expert knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) Regulations and standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Certified Ergonomist (CE)
- Experience using formal analytical tools like Fishbone or Fault Tree
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Proven ability to conduct complex risk assessments and develop effective risk management strategies
- Experience in developing emergency response plans
