Lilly is seeking a Logistics Engineer for the Richmond site to design, implement, and continuously improve logistics and material flow systems. You will work on ASRS, AMRs, SAP EWM integration, and PFEP development to enable a paperless, digitally enabled logistics environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years in logistics or supply chain engineering, preferably in pharma or related industries. Travel and startup work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a logistics, materials management, or supply chain engineering role.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, automotive, or FMCG industries preferred.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain a site-level PFEP incorporating supplier data, SAP BOM, and product usage rates across the Richmond site.
• Support design and implementation of business processes during start-up.
• Assist set-up, commissioning and qualification of ASRS, VSM, AMRs, AGVs, and conveyance equipment.
• Drive lean principles to maintain efficient material flows across the logistics center.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions with Operations, Quality and Safety.
• Partner with maintenance to develop spare parts strategy for logistics equipment.
• Monitor system performance metrics and KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
• Maintain PFEP data across production flows to ensure capacity.
• Support capital planning for expansion or recapitalization of warehouse systems.
