Air Force Research Laboratory in Dayton, OH seeks a Senior Logistics Management Specialist (DO-03/GS-14 equivalent) to serve as on-site Logistics Manager supporting AFRL and AFMC projects with complex, sometimes classified equipment. Key duties include developing streamlined logistics and procurement strategies, managing equipment accounts and TMDE, and serving as COMSEC and security program officer for ICD-705 facilities.

U.S.

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with access to SCI and SAP.
• At least five years of specialized experience at the next lower grade level, or equivalent in another pay system.

Mansioni

• Develops streamlined logistics strategy across facilities within the Division and procurement strategies for equipment and lab supplies for advanced technology.
• Analyses contractual commitments and customer specs to identify, document, and resolve logistics support requirements including facilities, safety, and maintenance; leads lab expansion initiatives and oversees ICD-705 facility construction and oversight.
• Serves as the Responsible Officer for all Classified Equipment; COMSEC Equipment Officer; implements security regulations for procurement, use, storage, maintenance, calibration, and disposal of equipment (unclassified and classified).
• Represents Equipment Accounts, TMDE, CTK programs, ESD programs, SCR and Hazardous Material programs.
