Job summary

Saige Partners in the Midwest seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee daily shipping operations, warehouse transfers, and logistics personnel at a manufacturing facility. You will coordinate outbound shipments, supervise loading activities, and ensure accurate shipping documentation.

You will work with plant operations, customer service, quality, and transportation teams to ship accurately and on schedule. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

5+ years of logistics, warehouse, or shipping management experience.
Experience leading teams with multiple direct reports.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with ERP systems and shipping software (Microsoft Dynamics, TMW, or similar).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Attention to detail with solid documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily shipping operations and coordinate outbound shipments.
Supervise warehouse transfers and loading activities; ensure on-time movements.
Maintain accurate production, shipping, and quality records; document and archive data.
Monitor inventory levels and production status; adjust shipping priorities as needed.
Lead logistics personnel and provide daily direction and scheduling.
