Carrier, 3PL, and vendor management
  • Select, onboard, and manage carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL and warehouse partners.
  • Set and track service levels for on-time delivery, damage rates, and response times; run regular business reviews.
  • Serve as an escalation point for delays, damage, and claims, and drive resolution with carriers and suppliers.
Inventory, warehousing, and asset tracking
  • Collaborate with Asset Management Team maintaining and improving inventory accuracy for in-transit, staged, and spare hardware across sites and warehouses.
  • Support any asset tracking process development from receipt through deployment, RMA, and decommission, by serial number.
  • Understand spares strategy and stocking levels with Data Center Operations to continuously improve logistics processes.
Reverse logistics
  • Develop RMA, warranty return, and repair flows with OEMs and ODMs supporting Supplier Quality Teams.
  • Support any coordination of decommissioning, secure data-bearing device handling, and ITAD or resale shipments maintaining Asset Management and Compliance Team’s requirements.
Trade compliance and international shipping
  • Maintain import, export, and customs compliance, with expertise including classification and documentation for controlled technology such as advanced GPUs.
  • Partner with brokers and Legal on export controls, duties, and country-specific requirements.
Systems, data, and process
  • Act as key user and process owner for logistics workflows in ERP and inventory systems; support system rollouts and improvements
  • Build reporting on lead times, freight cost, on-time delivery, and inventory health

Planning, budget, and cross-functional partnership
  • Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Data Center Operations, and Finance on demand forecasts and deployment timelines
  • Forecast and manage logistics spend against budget; find cost savings without risking schedule
