Job summary

Serco invites experienced professionals to join the Global Logistics Augmentation and Support Services team supporting Army Sustainment Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The Forward Planner position emphasizes deep policy analysis, contract management, and LOGCAP logistics coordination on CONUS/OCONUS assignments.

Ideal candidates hold an Active Secret clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, MEL4 education, and 10+ years in Joint/Army logistics, with proficiency in MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent in-depth research and analysis of current and emerging policy, regulations, directives or industrial issues.
• Assist with the management of day-to-day operations, synchronization, and coordination for the LOGCAP program and provide recommendations on operational issues.
• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packages (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.), screen for completeness and accuracy.
• Review, prepare analyses, coordinate and develop draft staff actions and requests for information; prepare or review briefings and memos per Army regulations (AR 25-50); collaborate with the local LOGCAP Planner.
• Research and draft responses to inquiries; monitor events involving new and ongoing operations and exercises requirements.

• Research and update training and exercise files in SharePoint; prepare briefings and information papers.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Prepare briefings and special studies.
• Monitor and track changing LOGCAP requirements.
• Participate in training and exercise events (LOGCAP, others).
• Develop and update exercise event scheduling requirements.
• Research and develop course curriculum.
• Attend meetings and teleconferences; prepare reports and developments; manage Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects.
