Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience required.
• Interim Secret clearance required to begin work; US Citizenship required.
• Procurement or accounting experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively; excellent Microsoft Office experience.
• Materials management, customer focus, cash handling, shipping/receiving; create and follow processes for above.

Responsibilities

• Researching and identifying potential suppliers, assessing quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Preparing and processing purchase orders, requisitions, bids, and allocating bank statements.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Generate and maintain reports on material status, inventory levels, and production records; compile weekly status reports and ensure procurement compliance.
• Oversee receiving and distribution of materials to ensure smooth production processes.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and engineering to ensure resources flow efficiently.
• Prepare and manage shipping schedules, evaluate production schedules, and determine material requirements to ensure availability.
• Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, and other industries to improve competitive position.
