Job summary

Castelion seeks a Senior Logistics Specialist to lead and execute logistics, materials and hazardous materials operations across multiple field locations in New Mexico, coordinating with sites in Torrance, CA and Midland, TX.

The role requires hands-on field work, strong knowledge of explosives, DOT, OSHA, ATF compliance, and the ability to build practical processes and training programs from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, materials operations, transportation, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with explosives and hazardous materials.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable DOT, OSHA, and ATF requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing logistics processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on oversight of shipment, transportation, delivery, receipt, handling, and storage of hazardous materials and explosives.
• Coordinate the movement of materials between operational sites, including Midland, TX and New Mexico.
• Coordinate and oversee material deliveries at New Mexico site, ensuring materials arrive safely, on schedule, and in accordance with the site requirements.
• Be physically present at field locations as needed to support logistics activities and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, storage, and movement activities as appropriate and within safety requirements.
