Job summary

RXO is seeking a Lead Logistics Engineer- Dedicated Solutions in Charlotte to design and deliver tailored logistics solutions, analyze customer data, and identify cost-saving opportunities. You will deploy optimization tools and model transportation networks to reduce costs while coordinating cross-functional teams for project execution.

You’ll work with a passionate team, leveraging industry-leading tools and a robust network to deliver impactful supply chain improvements for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 4 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems/technology, transportation management and distribution or procurement.
• Experience data mining and generating simulations in Microsoft BI, Access, and Excel to identify and scope opportunities within the customer's supply chain.
• Transportation and network modeling experience.
• Strong knowledge of dedicated transportation services and logistics solutions.
• Experience modeling Dedicated Transportation networks and optimizing through reduced miles, driver scheduling and equipment sharing.
• Experience optimizing supply chains by designing, implementing, and managing complex and integrated logistics networks.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs and analyze customer data to partner with prospects, clarify scope, and deliver tailored, opportunity-aligned logistics solutions.
• Select and deploy optimization/decision-support tools for operational studies, route optimization, and transportation rate analysis.
• Identify and implement cost-savings initiatives; build supply chain cost models to quantify total cost of ownership and savings.
• Learn customer processes to drive cross-functional initiatives and communicate solution enhancements.
• Coordinate project execution with internal and client stakeholders; deliver transportation-focused process and strategy improvements.
