Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst in Redford, MI. You will serve as a liaison between Operations, Engineering, and IT to optimize routing and support systems implementations, while driving cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement.

The role requires interaction with senior levels, adherence to schedules, and travel as needed. Typically Monday–Friday with standard business hours in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required: Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Fundamental understanding or desire to learn transportation, supply chain and logistics concepts
• Intermediate experience with Access and Excel
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel and meet customer deadlines

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and generate standard routing or load plans
• Provide reports and metrics to ensure solution effectiveness
• Support design and implementation of supply chain solutions
• Participate in process improvement and cost saving initiatives
• Interact with customers by phone, email or in person as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
