Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst – Food Service Operations to support COMNAVSURFLANT N41. The role requires a Secret clearance and a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, with Navy FSM experience as a strong plus.

Responsibilities include analyzing FSM data, training shipboard teams, and developing follow-up reports to assess program effectiveness. Travel up to 10% for shipboard training and Navy meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• Eight years of hands-on Navy food service operations experience can substitute for education.
• Expert level MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly food service metrics analysis using FSM data to enforce policy.
• Provide shipboard supply assistance and distance support to train and resolve FSM discrepancies.
• Conduct FSM management training in seminars or one-on-one sessions.
• Assist CNSL staff in creating and updating training curricula.
• Provide SME support for revisions of TYCOM policies and instructions.
• Develop, analyze, and prepare follow-up reports to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Travel to provide shipboard training or attend Navy food service meetings.
• Review deployed ship contingency menu load out and fill rates.
• Analyze MILSTRIPS and guide corrective actions prior to FLC fill.
• Provide Push Logistics support to CNSL ships.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly food service metrics analysis utilizing FSM data to enforce food service policy.
• Provide direct shipboard supply assistance onboard USN ships and distance support to provide training and resolve FSM discrepancies reported by ships.
• Conduct FSM management training in a seminar or individual setting.
• Assist CNSL staff in creating and updating training curriculum.
• Provide subject matter expert support for revision of TYCOM policies and instructions.
• Develop, analyze, and prepare follow-up reports to evaluate effectiveness of food service operations.
• Travel to provide shipboard training or attend Navy food service meetings.
• Review deployed/C2X ships contingency menu load out and fill rates.
• Analyze submitted MILSTRIPS and send guidance for corrective action prior to FLC fill.
• Provide Push Logistics support to CNSL ships.

Qualifications

• Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related business discipline.
• As a substitute, eight years of “hands‑on” experience in a combination of Navy food service operations and Food Service Management (FSM) program AIS is acceptable.
• Training related to the “degree substitute” provided at Navy schools is considered “hands‑on” experience.
• In addition to any experience which is substituted for education, the Logistics Analyst must have eight years of experience in a combination of Navy food service operations and FSM AIS management.
• Experience in automated supply/maintenance management systems must be with FSM application from a food service manager perspective to effectively analyze a wide array of file conditions.
• Must have expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Must be able to work independently.

Desired

• The ideal candidate would have experience obtained as a former U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Food Services Manager with tours on CG/CVN/DDG/LHA/LHD/LPD/LSD class Navy ships as a Leading Culinary Specialist;
• experience being part of a Navy Afloat Training Group or Navy Food Management Team is a plus.
• Possess strong verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare and conduct individual and seminar training.
