Job summary

ProLog, Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the AMCOM SCMD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. You will lead logistics analysis, optimize supply chain processes, and guide decisions affecting Army aviation and missile readiness.

This role requires deep knowledge of inventory, forecasting, and transportation within DoD frameworks. The position emphasizes developing recommendations for government leaders, providing technical direction to analysts, and ensuring alignment with Army

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Army logistics experience.
• 3+ years using the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).
• Experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply planning.
• Knowledge of transportation optimization, warehousing, and distribution logistics.
• Familiarity with Army supply regulations (AR 710-2, AR 725-50, AR 735-5, AR 750-1).
• Ability to analyze operations and present findings to senior leadership.
• Ability to provide technical direction to junior analysts.
• Must have or be eligible for Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics analysis and supply chain optimization across AMCOM SCMD directorates.
• Analyze Army supply chain performance and identify opportunities to improve availability, responsiveness, and efficiency.
• Analyze inventory levels, turnover, demand patterns, requirements, and overall supply performance.
• Support forecasting, demand planning, requirements determination, and supply planning for aviation and missile systems.
• Evaluate transportation processes, shipment activity, freight costs, and distribution performance.
• Assess warehouse operations, storage utilization, picking, packing, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor supply, demand, receipt, issue, and inventory activity to identify negative trends.
• Develop logistics reports, briefings, and executive summaries.
