Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an experienced supply chain professional to support the US BICES-X program, a DoD initiative with global teams and critical mission support, interfacing with DoD customers, IT, and logistics partners. Responsibilities include inventory maintenance, renewals, vendor coordination, asset tracking, and monthly leadership reporting on lifecycle status.

With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.

Become part of a team with proven experience to maintain a large network that is critical to the DoW's mission. We are currently seeking a unique individual with supply chain skills to assist in our enterprise procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains warehouse equipment inventories, storage, issue, shipping and receiving, stakeholder interactions, and providing input into process and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with the software team and leadership to provide coverage on all software related functions for the CCMD to include renewals, new purchases, updates, and tracking.
• Support annual efforts of spend-down materials and spares and update data on department SharePoint.
• Facilitate all inventory efforts locally and remote and provide weekly and monthly status reporting to appropriate leadership for all Property titles.
• Provide updates to the System of Record database, provide additional assistance with logistical support of designated site codes, and generate weekly and monthly reporting analysis of existing capabilities and challenges.
  Provide support efforts for locally stored equipment, while providing accountability of location and lifecycle information.
• Assist with all disposal actions and mandatory documentation for record keeping.
• Enter, track, and receive software and hardware maintenance support renewals and new purchases throughout purchasing process.
• Work with vendors, IT, and Supply Chain teams to analyze and resolve complex issues associated with enterprise purchasing.
• Familiarity with coordinating shipments using commercial and DoW transportation methods.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of related work experience.
• Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance
• BA/BS – may substitute additional years of experience.
• Proficient use Excel & Microsoft software products.
• Ability to learn logistics database systems (ServiceNow)
• Basic knowledge of IT equipment (routers, switches, thin clients... etc.)
• Strong knowledge of international procurement/shipping documentation processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of shipping carriers; DHL, FedEx, and USPS.
• Ability to multi-task supporting requests with varying timeline requirements.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience entering and manipulating information in asset management systems.
• Experience with completing hand receipts
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Self-starter who can independently work and collaborate with other teams.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to put together and organize large amounts of information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Enterprise Licensing Agreements and EULAs.
• Experience with ServiceNow Asset Record Usage.
• Experience with Government Property Transfers, DD1150s
• Familiar with Government Disposal processes, DD1348s
• Familiar with Microsoft, Cisco, and Adobe DoW JELAs
• Experience communicating with multiple vendors and project managers
• Experience with data entry (SC360), Accounting Systems and SharePoint
• Performs demand forecasting, distribution planning supply chain modeling and design.
