Job summary

DCS Corporation seeks a Senior Logistician to support US Army programs, focusing on logistics, engineering, and management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. This role will contribute to innovative solutions and shape a fast-evolving mission space across multiple locations.

U.S. Citizenship is required, with a BA/BS in Operations management or related field and 7–8 years of DoD logistics experience. A secret clearance may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 7–8 years of experience as a logistician within the DOD environment.
• 6 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples, and the minimization of obsolescence.
• Develops and implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
• Perform system life-cycle cost analysis and develop component studies.
• Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
• Stay informed of logistics technology advances, and Government policies and apply them in order to improve logistics processes.
