Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer on the Location & Sensors team to help build Uber's Location Platform, improving geospatial capabilities and sensor data processing.

This role focuses on API development, data pipelines, and algorithms to boost location accuracy across Uber's products. You will contribute to scalable location data processing and predictive modeling, collaborating across teams while ensuring robust production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; masters preferred.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in production systems.
• Experience with Go, C, C++, or Java and contributing to APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; documenting architectures.
• Experience with software engineering best practices.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement APIs to serve Location and Inferences.
• Collaborate to improve location accuracy and sensor data processing.
• Design data pipelines to support ML workflows.
• Design and develop improvements to Uber's location accuracy.
