Job summary

Uber is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead location accuracy, real-time sensing, safety, fraud, and autonomous systems. You will partner with Engineering and Scientists to turn capabilities into consumer experiences for Riders, Eaters, and Earners.

This is a highly technical product role with broad scope, global scale, and direct customer impact. You will drive strategy, collaborate with ML teams, and scale products across markets and devices.

Uber combines GPS, mobile sensors, machine learning, maps, and real-time data to understand where people and vehicles are and what is happening around them. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead this work and turn it into better experiences across Uber.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead this work and turn it into better experiences across Uber.

You will partner closely with Engineering and Scientists to solve challenging problems in location accuracy, real-time sensing, safety, fraud, and autonomous vehicles. You will also have the opportunity to take these capabilities into the hands of millions of Riders, Eaters, and Earners through new product experiences.

What You'll Do

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning, geospatial systems, mobile, sensors, or real-time systems.


• Experience building ML-powered consumer products.


• Experience with platform products serving multiple teams or use cases.


• Experience in mobility, logistics, autonomous systems, safety, fraud, or related fields.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $190,000 per year - USD $211,000 per year.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $190,000 per year - USD $211,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.

Offices remain key to collaboration and Uber's culture. Unless approved for full remote work, employees must spend at least 50% of their time in-office. Some roles, like those at greenlight hubs, require full-time in-office presence.
